How to Access the Cloning Functionality
Navigate to EUDR and select the DDS tab.
Locate the DDS column, where the DDS reference numbers are displayed. Only DDSs with an "Available" Status can be cloned. If the statement is eligible, the clone button will be shown.
Modifying a Cloned Statement
Once you click the Clone button, the system will display the details of the original due diligence statement. From here, you can update the entity information, select the relevant entity for the cloned statement, add reference numbers (PO, SN, other reference) and change the weight of the DDS if required.
💡To further speed up this process, set up Product Groups. This allows you to select entity information from a dropdown menu rather than typing it manually. Learn how to create Product Groups here.
Submitting Your Cloned DDS
The submission process for a cloned statement follows the same workflow as submitting a DDS in the inbound tab. First you nee to Save the DDS by clicking on the "Save DDS" button.Re-open the draft from your list to see the detailed information pop-up.
Check your submitted information and click Submit DDS. The statement will be sent to TRACES, and you will receive your official reference and verification numbers once processed. The newly created DDS will appear in the DDS tab.
