Please note that it's an introductory article and more information can be found in the detailed article linked here.

Each company monitored on Prewave has its own TargetProfile. It will be in the form of either Site Group or Site.

The Target Profile is split into three core areas:

1. Header

  • "Following" shows when you are actively following a target, i.e. receiving updates about this company and subscribing to the 360 Score. If a company is a supplier / customer, it'll be followed automatically.

  • Adding as Supplier, Customer or Own Business Area
The “Add as Supplier” button adds a target either as a Supplier, Customer or Own Business Area in the system and is associated with the collection in the Network page. It can be used as a way to group targets.

Own Business Area is used to add the target in the Own Business Collection. Typically, this would be done for subsidiaries of the own company.

2. Related targets and Supplier / Customer Information

Related targets display associated information tags, typically linked to Industry, Commodity and whether a Site belongs to a Site Group. Additional details, including associated collections and target priority, are also presented here.

3. Dashboards and Tabs

This article provides high-level information on each tab. Detailed information on each section is available here.

The Dashboard is split into several areas. We're only highlighting some essential tabs to get started with:

360° Scorecard

The 360° Score is available if at least 12 months of data is available. The score consists of four components with their relevant weightage:

  • Peer score (30%) consists of the Alert scores of all companies in the same industry (Industry risk) as well as the Country risk.

  • Alert score (40%) is calculated based on the impact and the number of alerts associated with the target in question, the timing of these alerts as well as the target's size.

  • Self-assessments (20%) completed on Prewave by a supplier. Those can also be taken into account in the risk score. This component is only available for those suppliers who have completed a self-assessment. If no self-assessment is available, this component is not included in the score.

  • External data (10%) provided by the Prewave user can also be included in the risk assessment.

The Tier N score is currently not influencing the score of the Target.

Tier N score provides an abstract overview of a target’s deeper supply chain, considering the Industry Risk and the Commodity Risk (when a supplier is associated with a commodity in Prewave). It can be used to assess critical suppliers in the Supply Chain.

Sites and Site Groups

On Prewave, Suppliers are categorized into two main types:

  • Site Group: Represents a company's headquarters, without being tied to a specific geographical location.

  • Site: Denotes a company's specific physical location, such as a factory, distribution center or office building.

Information from all associated Sites is aggregated and presented within the Site Group.

Suppliers

This feature is available for Users with Tier-N plans. It helps to visualize the deeper supply chain of the supplier. Contact your Customer Success Manager or [email protected] for more information.
