Welcome to the Prewave Supplier Engagement Process Guide.
You’ve received this guide because you have also received a supplier request. Remember, once you receive a request, you have 14 days to complete it.
This document aims to simplify the process of providing information required by the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR).
The process is easy, free, and supported by our team, who can assist with any questions or issues you have.
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Register with Prewave
When you receive your first request, you will need to register on the Prewave platform.
Check Your Inbox: Look for an email from Prewave containing the request.
Click the Link: This will direct you to the EUDR Area on the Prewave platform.
Enter Your Details: Provide the required information.
Check for Confirmation: Complete registration by following the instructions in the confirmation email.
Step 2: Access the Request
At this stage, you should have successfully registered on the Prewave platform.
Log In to the Prewave platform.
Locate and Open the Request: Click "Answer" to begin.
Step 3: Do you have a Due Diligence Statement?
If you already have a Due Diligence Statement, select that option and enter the reference and verification numbers when prompted.
If you don’t have one, select the appropriate option and you’ll be taken to Step 4: Adding Details and Origin.
If your product is not relevant to EUDR, or if you’re currently unable to provide the required evidence, you’ll also have options to indicate that.
Step 4: Add Details and Origin
Enter Details: Enter the producer name, country of origin and production date.
In case you don't have the details, you will be given the option to forward the request to the producer.
Select a Method to Add an Origin:
Import a File: If your geolocation data is in a file, upload it directly.
Add Manually: If you do not have a file, add geolocation and other information manually
Add Geolocation: Draw a polygon for the production area
Option 1: Use the instructions in “How to Find Geo-Coordinates” (How to find Geo-coordinates) for guidance on drawing polygons in Prewave.
Option 2: Visit geojson.com and use the instructions in “Draw Geo-Coordinates outside of Prewave” for guidance on drawing polygons outside of Prewave
Edit as Needed: You can delete and redraw the polygon if necessary.
Step 5: Save and Complete the Process
Save Your Work: Click "Save" to store the completed origin information.
Add Additional Origins: Repeat the process to add more origins if required.
Finalize: Once all origins are added, click "Finish" to complete the process.
