Initially, the Feed tab will not show any information. This is due to the fact that the monitoring of suppliers has not been activated for your account yet.
When you are new to Prewave, you need to populate your feed with information. The Feed is the part of the platform which shows you news, social media and other sources in the form of alerts. This information is derived from the suppliers you have uploaded to the system. To configure this, navigate to the Network tab.
Collections
Under the Network tab, you'll discover collections where your suppliers are grouped together in a specific format decided by you or your company (this could f.e. be based on geography, product group or departments).
You can differentiate between four groups of collections:
Network
My Collections
Company Collections
Featured Collections
In order to receive alerts in your feed, you need to set-up delivery settings per collection. You can only do that, once a collection is either under “My Collections” or within the “Network” collection (which is automatically created by the system and can’t be changed by the user).
Adding a collection to my "My Collections"
In order to add a collection to “My collections”, you can either choose a “Company Collections” or a “Featured Collections” and click the “Add to my collections” button on the upper right hand side of the collection details.
You can also create your own collection if the structure you’re looking for is not in place.
Delivery Settings
Once a collection is in "My Collection," you can select it to modify its delivery settings on the right-hand side. Here, you can choose to display information on your feed by checking the box and also opt in to receive email notifications if needed.
Once Feed delivery settings are activated for your desired collections, return to the Feed page to view alerts on your suppliers.
